Parent Company Of Times-Free Press Seeks Public's Help To Raise $100,000 For Newsroom At Little Rock Paper

The campaign is by the Walter E. Hussman Jr. family (WEHCO Media Inc.) The fundraiser asking support from newspaper readers is above the $39 per month charged for online access and the Sunday print paper. The newspaper had this announcement: The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette on Tuesday announced a public fundraising effort to bolster its newsroom operations. "The inaugural campaign aims to raise $100,000 in 100 days, said Staci Miller, director of development for what is being called the newspaper's Community Journalism Project.
